Every year, over 356,000 cardiac arrests occur outside hospitals in the U.S. This includes over 23,000 children. To combat this, we’re advocating for SB 375, sponsored by Senator Rosemary Brown and HB1685, sponsored by Rep. Tim Brennan. These bills mandate Cardiac Emergency Response Plans and AED availability at schools and athletic events, aiming to increase survival rates significantly. Let’s pass these bills to safeguard our youth and ensure rapid, effective responses to cardiac emergencies!
