We were thrilled to once again participate in the PIAA District III Basketball Championships at the Giant Center in Hershey on February 26-28. We provided CPR & AED education on the main concourse, as well as halftime presentations.

The Peyton Walker Foundation made a HUGE donation to District III schools. 35 AEDs (defibrillators), valued at over $75,000 were donated to help protect the hearts of thousands of students across PIAA District III. This donation was made possible through our generous partners at UPMC Pinnacle Foundation and through our donors – YOU! THANK YOU to everyone who supports our work and makes these donations possible!

Halftime presentations included CPR and AED demonstrations by Bill Odoms, our CPR Instructor; videos about sudden cardiac arrest and how to use an AED; and information about our 4 Minute Community programs in Cumberland and Dauphin Counties.

We’re grateful to PIAA District III for providing us with this incredible platform to raise awareness and provide education to the community.
